I came up with the Lego build myself (MOC). Give building it a try! It took me a long while to figure out how to make the two engines splitting into four halves. The S-foil wing gimmick was even more confusing. Luckily, had the Hasbro toy as a reference. Youll see it towards the end of the video. \r

Comment below if you have a question about a part you see that is unknown to you. The engines are made from grey visors, which might be a little hard to find. \r

It took much effort, but Im super happy that I built, photographed, and uploaded this before The Force Awakenspremiers. Yay. \r

Gosh, I love the profile of this thing - that cockpit curvature is spiffy. =P I should post a work-in-progress shot just to show how far this thing has come. Coming up with the engine split, the working S-foil wings, figuring out how to make the blue streak, and keeping this starfighter small was darn hard. Its only 1x stud wide for the nose while still maintaining all the proper curves the X-wing is known for. Definitely no studs on top of this guy, san the BB-8 head sticking out. It was hard, but Im proud of the finished product, and its super swooshable, as you can see in the beginning of the video. Enjoy!\r
