This week's Debut, and penultimate instalment of our 50WEAPONS Debut series, comes from L.A. native, Truncate (also known as Audio Injection). First dropped as part of Function's Berghain '07 mix, "86" compressed kickdrum and creeping, cyclical synths building up to a climax in typical Truncate style. On catalogue number #048, Truncate is joined by fellow driving force of contemporary techno, Benjamin Damage, whose A-side complements "86" in its acid-inflected, groove-tinted techno track, "Battle".
