For a Russian native, A Vision Of Panorama paints quite the accurate landscape of Balearic, summer-seasoned euphoria. An impressive debut came on Manchester-based Aficionado Recordings in late 2014 with a sumptuous Andras Fox remix on the flip. This June he ushered in his own Mellophonia imprint release with panache. Seaside Tune, was a tropical knickerbocker glory of six tracks characterised by Caribbean-tinged percussive play and a serene feel.
The Two Birds EP is the successor. Once again dipping into the Balearic whirlpool, "New Horizons" is a real downtempo doosy. No jagged basslines or fist pumping crescendos round here; just vivid imagery of Wayfarers, waterskis and warmth.
