This recorded material was initially made for podcasting. I got carried away, turned it into a video, and added an excerpt of an original song of mine. Recently upgraded my computer, I was inspired by how technology has advanced since I was a little boy. I did some research and attempted to match the number of transistors of the computer processors that I own to the neuron counts of the animals in our planet. It was no easy task as few scientists find counting the neurons of a cat has is useful, set aside publishing the data on the Internet.
You may notice that there is a distinct difference between the part 1 and 2 of the video blog. In part 1, after I have recorded my narration, I attempted to record a classical guitar track as background music. I am amazed at how much the tempo of the guitar track matches with the pace of my narration. It is almost like an internal clock inside of me that ticks as I speak.
In part 2, I have done away with the sketches of my drawings and used real pictures from my photograph collection instead. Also, the soundtrack is a rock song that I attempted to make in the absence of my band. Oh well, all I can say is that: I did my best.
And because of this video blog, I was inspired to create a mini-series - a collection of blog entries that cover a wide spectrum of topics from experience sharing, futuristic views, song recording, random thoughts, and more. Most don't get it. I guess what I learn is that a blog is different from a book that is different from a movie.
Hope this video blog is not too horrible that you have to throw up halfway watching it. I may create another one if the response is not too bad. This is helluva tedious journey and boy, I need some time to recuperate.
