Donald Trump Jr. corresponded with WikiLeaks during the 2016 presidential election, according to a report from The Altantic. Trump Jr. was repeatedly contacted by the organization between September 2016-July 2017. Trump Jr. fulfilled some of the request made by WikiLeaks, including tweeting links and pushing articles. His lawyer, Alan Futerfas, say they have turned over documents regarding the communication to the committees probing Russian interference in the 2016 election.
