In this Age of Empires 2 live stream game, Resonance22 plays as the Persians on the map Arabia in a 3v5 with the viewers. This time I decided to go for a Petard Rush, which is easily one of the most gimmicky and silly strategies in the game. The idea is to build a quick Castle and surprise your opponent with Petards by blowing up his Town Center before he has time to re. Since we were playing on Turbo Random Map, I was able to build up an economy fast enough to catch my enemies off guard with an extremely early army of Petards. Throughout this game I limited myself to making only Petards and Monks, and as a result this turned out to be one of the funniest matches I have ever played. I can imagine though that this strategy would work better on a civilization with Siege Engineers. \r
