Tanner Whitten is a RedBull GRC Lites driver & instructor at Dirtfish Rally School. He also participated in the design & testing of the world famous Ford Fiesta GRC Lites car that dominates the circuit. Hes a great guy and teaches me how to play DiRT Rally which is a game that is a very accurate simulation of real rally driving.\r

Q) Why does the simulator screen look photoshopped?\r
A) I added a mask to the screen to lower the brightness since it was blown out in the original video. \r

Q) Why does his hand look dark when it passes in front of the screen?\r
A) The mask over the screen lowering the brightness also affects anything passing into that region like say, a hand.\r
\r
Q) Why does Tanner look pissed?\r
A) Tanner has a poker face, hes a race car driver and they all have very mellow calculated personalities. Hes a fantastic guy and great fun to hang out with but hes not ADHD like me :D\r

Q) Why do you use your left foot to brake?\r
A) Its called left foot braking and its a technique used to give you more car control by sharing the pedals to change the brake bias of the car. Its used heavily in rally to control the pitch of the car.\r
