As he left Beijing for Vietnam Friday, President Donald Trump praised Chinese leader Xi Jinping as “highly respected.” This concluded a visit which Chinese media said set a “new blueprint” for handling U.S.-China relations and differences. Trump said bilateral trade had been unfair to the United States, and he urged China to do more to rein in North Korea. On the other hand, he praised Xi’s promise that China would be more open to foreign firms.
