Coal-Fired Power Station in South Australia Demolished in Spectacular Fashion

Two enormous 80-metre tall boilers at the Port Augusta Northern Power Station in South Australia were demolished with explosive charges on Thursday, November 9.

Speaking to ABC Australia, a contractor named Andrew McMahon said, “It’s one of the biggest fellings undertaken in the world, certainly in the Southern Hemisphere.”
