A tropical depression swept through the central region of the Philippines on Thursday, November 9, bringing heavy rain, flooding and landslides.
The storm, dubbed Salome by the Philippines meteorological agency PAGASA, was forecast to track westward towards Quezon-Mardinique area after passing through the Bicol region of Luzon.
