Footage has emerged of demonstrators shutting down a major highway in Catalonia to protest against the imprisonment of eight members of the regional government and two activists.
The video, captured this morning in the north of Barcelona, shows dozens of people standing in the middle of a road, forcing traffic to come to a standstill.
