A snake, which was suspected of swallowing a pet cat, was captured in rural Hong Kong on October 31.

This video, filmed by a Hong Kong resident, showed trained local snake catcher, David Willott, capturing the Burmese python in a bag during a visit to Tai Wan village, Sai Kung.

The snake, which had a large lump in its belly, was suspected of swallowing a local resident’s cat shortly before it was caught, the South China Morning Post reported. The animal was taken to Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden in the New Territories for further care before its eventual release, the newspaper reported. Credit: Ralf Britzke via Storyful
