Algorithms aren't your typical cake ingredient — but don't tell that to one Ukrainian architect-turned-pastry chef.
Dinara Kasko uses data structures and mathematical concepts to create geometric perfection, merging "patisserie and architecture" with the help of food sculpting and custom 3D-printed silicone molds.
Kaski was recently invited to experiment with a new type of chocolate called "Ruby," creating her most difficult composition yet. It's made of 81 individual cakes, each with a unique shape and a recipe that includes mousse, berry confit, and sponge cake.
Bon appetit!
