This Little Shop Comes Alive on The Weekends, Serving The Best Bagels in Taipei

First, getting a seat at this unique and popular café / hangout can be tough, as it's always packed. But now that that's out of the way, let's focus on the main reason you' re going here: the BAGELS. . . glorious bagels with a distinctly Taiwanese twist. Compared to their traditional poppy-seeded cousins from NY, the bagels here are less dense in texture, and more wacky in flavor with unorthodox combinations like CHOCOLATE BANANA (go for it. . . seriously). What else is here?  Good Cho's eclectic, everything-market SIMPLE LIFE which features only locally-grown or made products from produce to homewares.Come weekend, the entire space and adjoining lot turns into a farmer's market paradise. Note: this is all held in a normally-empty cement space bordered by the “haunted hills” of a former military housing complex.Which aren't actually haunted, because ghosts aren't real. Silly.
