The Home Secretary Amber Rudd has told police forces to stop complaining about funding and to start “cutting crime”. The debate about police funding has intensified ahead of the budget later this month. But in a speech to police chiefs and crime commissioners this morning, Ms Rudd said she didn't believe the public wanted to hear disagreements on how money is provided to police. Report by Blairm.
