Two sailors who were lost at sea for five months... but never activated their emergency beacon. Jennifer Appel and Natasha Fuiava told the U.S. Coast they never activated the beacon because they never felt endangered. The duo was rescued 900 miles southeast of Japan claiming they only had 24 hours to live. The Coast Guard would have been immediately notified if the sailors activated the emergency beacon.
