In this video I test many different woods to find out which ones make the best wood rings. It took so much longer than I thought it would but I am happy with what I found. There are many more species of wood than the ones that I tested but this is at least a good starting place. I hope you find this info helpful. By the way be sure to use all the safety precautions that come with the use of CA glue. Gloves, eye protection, and mask are recommended.\r
