Thousands of flag-waving Spaniards gathered in Madrid on Saturday in a show of support for the country's constitution and unity.
The demonstration in the Plaza de Colón took place a day after the Catalan parliament declared independence.
Participants called for Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont to be thrown in jail and also sang the national anthem of Spain.
