HRW: ‘Ill-treated’ detainees launch hunger strike in Yemen prison

Human Rights Watch, the US-based organisation, wants the UAE and its allies in the war in Yemen to take action to stop the alleged abuse. The militarisation of many of Yemen’s port cities is also creating major problems for local residents.
