Police on streets as Kenyans vote in disputed poll

Video of police on the streets of Kayole, Nairobi as Kenyans go the polls in a disputed presidential election.

A witness said police were “chasing away” and engaging in “running battles” with protesters, firing teargas in Kayole,

"This follows (a) commotion over ongoing voting at Dhawabu Polling Station,” he writes.

Following annulment of a August 8 election by the country's Supreme Court, a re-run of the presidential election is being held today.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga has called on supporters to boycott the election.
