Honolulu is cracking down on unaware texters who use their phones while crossing streets. The capital enforced "Cross and Text" law on Wednesday to reduce pedestrian deaths from distracted mobile phone users. What are the fines for violating the ban? First-time violators will have to pay $15 to $35. A second offense in the same year will cost $35 to $75. Any other fines after that are up to $99!
