President Trump offered to give $25,000 to a man who lost his son in Afghanistan, but apparently never went through with his offer. Chris Baldridge told the Washington Post Trump called him after his son Army Sgt. Dillon Baldridge was fatally shot by Afghan police. Baldridge told the Post Trump never actually followed through. “The check has been sent. It’s disgusting that the media is taking something that should be recognized as a generous and sincere gesture," White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters told the Post.
