Cherry Cobbler Recipe\r
\r
2 cups all-purpose flour\r
2 cups sugar\r
1 teaspoon salt\r
4 teaspoons baking powder\r
2 cups milk\r
1 teaspoon vanilla ( with cherry add a teaspoon of almond extr too)\r
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional- recommended for peach cobbler)\r
1 stick melted butter\r
2 cups fruit (or more to taste plus the juice, we like to add about 1/3 to ½ cup of juice or more to taste)\r
\r
1. Mix together the flour, sugar, salt baking powder, milk and vanilla together. \r
2. Pour the butter in a greased 12-inch deep Dutch oven or a 11x13-inch casserole dish. \r
3. Pour the batter in the Dutch oven. Evenly top with the fruit and juice.\r
4. If baking in the house- bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until its about ¾ baked through like a cake, but still has a soft center. \r
\r
Tip: If you like more of a gooey cobbler add more juice and dont cook the cobbler as long. \r
