6. Jack the Ripper\r
This legendary criminal was believed to be the murderer of 5 prostitutes all of them in the London area, during the late 19th century. He was known for the gruesome fashion in which left the bodies after he was done murdering them. Its was something that no one at that era could believe. A woman named Mary Ann, had her throat slit and her abdomen ripped open. His next kill would be Annie Chapman, a 47 year old prostitute, who would suffer the same brutal mutilation, only this time, her uterus was removed. Three more brutal murders took place on the streets of London by this mystery man. In October 1888, a news agency received a postcard from someone that took responsibility for the crimes and signed it “Jack the Ripper”. Despite countless police interviews, police did not make any arrests. Due to forensic advancements, some people are trying to put an end to this mystery.\r

5. Charles Manson\r
One of Americas most infamous criminals, Charles Manson never even got his hands messy. He had his cult followers do the dirty work for him. He was the founder of what was called the Manson Family, which was a group of hippies in the 1960s. He found himself around a life of crime from an early age committing burglary and pimping. He would preach his philosophy about life and how the end was near and racial wars would begin. He was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murders of seven people including the infamous crime scene at Roman Polanskis mansion where ress Sharon Tate and four others were brutally killed by his followers. 4. Green River Killer\r
Gary Leon Ridgway was given the nickname the green river killer due to the name of the place where he liked to dump the bodies in Washington state. He was convicted of 49 murders, making him the most prolific American serial killer that we know and can confirm. Although he claims responsibility for twice that number, he was notorious for kidnapping prostitutes or other women in vulnerable situations. 5 victims were found in King County and the media then dubbed him the Green River Murderer. He would normally kill by strangling and would sometimes return to the area where he left the bodies. He was eventually linked to the murders through DNA evidence and agreed to show where he left other victims in exchange for being spared the death penalty. \r

3. Albert Johnson\r
Also known as the Mad Trapper of the Rat River and he became the target of one of the biggest manhunts in history and a legendary Canadian criminal. In 1931, a man named Albert Johnson was interfering with native traplines and refused to show his trapping license to Constable Alfred King. He then shot the constable through the wooden door of his cabin, severely wounding him. He fled into the Yukon Mountains. This lead to a huge pursuit and search for the Mad Trapper of the Rat River with 42 dogs, 9 men, airplanes and plenty of dynamite just in case Due to this remote area in the woods police needed to be careful with their search. Albert was eventually spotted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He was shot and killed in a gunfight and officials took this photo in order to find out who exly this guy was.\r

2. John Wayne Gacy\r
Also known as the clown killer because he would throw parties dressed up like a clown for childrens birthday parties, John Wayne Gacy is one of the most nefarious criminals of all time. He was convicted of the murder and rape of about 33 young men between the years of 1972 and 1978 which were found buried under his house and this location is still considered to be haunted. He was executed in 1994 by lethal injection and many were shocked by the f that this seemingly likeable guy was capable of such horrific crimes.\r

Ted Bundy grew as an unwanted child, due to the f that his mother was religious and her parents shamed her for it. He was raised as an adopted child of his grandparents and was told that his mother was ually his sister the entire time. At a young age, he grew a fascination with knives and spying on people through their windows. Its believed that he began his murderous spree in 1974 and lured women into his car.
