4 - Freddy Jackson – Heres a photo that almost everyone agrees is an ual depiction of a ghost. Very few argue its fake, and thats what makes it so creepy. Taken in 1919, the photo shows a group who served in World War I. At first glance the photo just looks like a bunch of handsome soldiers, but when you look closer youll be able to make out a grainy, ghostly face behind the airman standing on the top row, fourth from the left. The face is supposedly that of Freddy Jackson, an air mechanic you sadly two days earlier as the result of an accident. 3 - Babushka Lady – The babushka lady is just one of those great mysteries that pop up throughout history. On the day that John F. Kennedy was assassinated, the babushka lady was front and center with the rest of crowd to see the President with camera in hand. The problem is that after the horrors of that day, the government was able to locate just about every person present that day and every piece of photographic evidence from that day. All except the babushka lady. The reason so many were interested in finding her specifically was because the angle at which she was standing and the photos she may have taken would have offered a new perspective to the investigation. She seemed to disappear in thin air and despite public pleas for her to come forward, she and the film in her camera has never been identified.\r

2 – Hanging Man – This photo is the center of so much controversy, but is one of the creepiest photos on this list. According to the story, the Cooper family had just moved into their new home in Texas and wanted to snap a picture to remember the day. After having the film developed they clearly saw that next to their smiling faces was a body hanging lifelessly from the ceiling. The body wasnt there when the picture was taken and upon investigation the film was not tampered with. Now, there are those who have said the picture is fake and you can tell because the subjects are off center, leaving a nice frame for the family and the body. If it were just a family photo, the family would be centered. Others argue that the photo was cropped and the family was originally in the center. \r

1 - Amityville Ghost – This one is creepy. The Amityville House has been the scene of alleged poltergeist ivity, as well as the Defeo murders on 1974. Ronald Defeo Jr murdered his parents and 4 young siblings, which inspired the book The Amityville Horror. This photo was taken in 1976 and is one of the most well-known paranormal pictures of all time. It shows a young boy peeking out of a doorway with glowing eyes. The part that makes it beyond creepy is that the little boy so closely resembles John Defeo, one of the children murdered in the house. The picture was taken by a professional photographer who was working with Ed and Lorraine Warren at the time. When the photo was taken there were no children present in the house.
