This cake is easy to make. Great for kids parties, birthday or for fans of angry birdand game.\r
Ingredients:\r
1. 3 butter cake mix boxes\r
2. Buttercream or vanilla frosting\r
3. Red edible gel food coloring\r
4. Small amount of red, black, orange and white fondant\r
5. Round baking pan 16cm (6 inch)\r
6. Round glass heatproof bowl 1.7 L (57 fl oz)\r
Method:\r
1. Preheat oven to 180C (350 F). Grease and line with baking paper round baking pan 16cm (6 inch). Mix 1 butter cake mix according to instructions on the cake box, pour into prepared pan and bake according to instructions on the cake box. Once baked, then repeat same process to make second butter cake using same round baking pan. Cool both cakes completely.\r
2. Grease round glass heatproof bowl. Mix butter cake according to instructions on the cake box; pour into prepared glass bowl and bake, according to instructions on the cake box. Once baked, let cool completely.\r
3. Place most of buttercream into bowl and tint with red gel food coloring to create red color buttercream. Place small amount of buttercream into small bowl and tint with small amount of red gel food coloring to create light pink color buttercream.\r
4. Level all three cakes with serrated knife. Sandwich two round cakes together, then position bowl cake on top. Trim outer part of bowl cake to same level as round cakes. Cut out two pieces to create drumsticks from leftover top trimmings. Apply red and pink buttercream, attach two drumsticks. Place in the freezer for about 30 minutes, then apply second layer of buttercreams.\r
5. Create all details from red, orange, white and black fondant and using image of Red printed from internet 17cm (6.6 inch) wide.\r
Place all prepared fondant pieces on baking paper to set and harden. Attach all fondant pieces to the cake.
