Driver arrested after deadly pedestrian-involved crash in Phoenix

According to police, a pedestrian was crossing the street mid-block near 99th Avenue and Camelback Road early Thursday morning. A passing car struck the pedestrian, causing serious injuries. The victim was taken to the hospital, but later died.
