A Texas Tech police officer was shot and killed after catching a student with drugs and drug paraphernalia. The suspect, identified by authorities as Hollis A. Daniels, was being processed for jail on the drug evidence at the TTU police station when he shot the officer. Daniels, 19, was charged with capital murder Tuesday.
