We show the Hornby trains up close. The newer models are glued like that from the fory and cannot be pushed in from the bottom. I think it is just a matter of personal preference so I would recommend that if you dont like it, dont buy Hornby trains, or just buy the old ones. Most of my models end up having pieces that break off anyway from crashes and heavy use. \r
