Footage has emerged of bus passengers escaping through windows after the vehicle got stuck on a flooded road in Nicaragua during Storm Nate.
The video, captured on October 5 in the capital Managua, shows the vehicle being caught up in currents as local residents help the passengers to get out through the windows.
''The driver tried to drive through the current without thinking about the possible consequences,'' the filmer later wrote online.
''Luckily there were two tractors that tied ropes to the bus to prevent it from overturning.''
''In the end the bus was towed and fortunately there were no injuries,'' he continued.
According to reports, Storm Nate killed at least 13 people in Nicaragua and thousands more were forced to leave their homes.
