TIME FOR THE BIG GUNS - Annihilator - Mechwarrior Online (MWO) - TTB

2017-10-09 12

The Annihilator is quickly becoming one of my favorite mechs in Mechwarrior Online. This 100 ton MWO assault mech can house a broad variety of energy, ballistic and missile weapons. Today we'll be bringing the pain with the big guns - double Heavy Gauss, followed up by 5 Medium Pulse Lasers. Just make sure to shoot the lasers first, then follow up with the Heavy Gauss, because your crosshair is going to shake a lot. Make sure to prioritze Targets at or below 200m. If need be, you can engage enemies at up to 500m with the Heavy Gauss and still do reasonable damage. As always, with this slow and bulky assault, take great care in your positioning, stay with the team, and don't fall behind or you might get gobbled up by hungry enemy light mech pilots.

Got a nice build for me to use in Mechwarrior Online? Put it in the comments below!

MWO (Mechwarrior Online) by Piranha Games. Free to play at http://mwomercs.com.

MechWarrior Online is a free-to-play vehicular combat video game, officially launched during September 2013 by Piranha Games for Microsoft Windows. The game takes place within the larger BattleTech universe.
In MechWarrior: Online, players takes the role of a "MechWarrior" who pilots large bipedal combat vehicles known as BattleMechs (Mech for short). Players can customize their BattleMech with an array of weapons and equipment, and engage in 12 versus 12 battles, the outcome of which earns the players experience and c-bills for future BattleMech purchases and customization. There are currently seven game modes that involve protecting and attacking a single base (Assault), capturing and holding several points (Conquest), take and hold the center of the map (Domination), leading a VIP to a pickup point (Escort), attacking a space defense system (Siege/Counter-Attack), protecting and attacking field bases with turrets and walls spread across the map (Incursion), and team death-match (Skirmish).
