For Xperia M with model C1904 that hasnt received the update yet, try to download this Update Centre APK and install it on your phone. APK : \r

For Sony camera addons (like background defocus) download it here and follow the instructions: \r

Easy way to root without unlocking bootloader (Tested on XMS & XMD)\r
1. Make sure Unknown Sources checked in settings, security \r
2. Go to and click lambda sign\r
3. Install the APK and press Make it Rain\r
4. It will automatically reboot and youre rooted but first you need SuperSU with this method : 1. Visit Chainfires SuperSU thread on XDA \r
2. Scroll down and find the CWM / TWRP / MobileODIN installable ZIP download link\r
3. Download the file and extr it to your phone/PC \r
4. Once extred, you will find the latest superuser.apk inside the Common directory\r
5. Transfer and install the APK file on your phone\r

To use GL2SD (prevent reboots):\r
1. Download Busybox X from playstore and install\r
2. Use the remount rebootfix from here : forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53490030&postcount=27\r
and follow the instructions\r
