Vladimir Stevic recently put a plate of beef outside of his residence in Serbia to prove that wasps don’t just eat plants, but also meat!
This is what Vladimir told Storyful about the wasps’ eating habits: “I noticed a while ago that wasps like to eat meat. Since there are a lot of wasps in my country house in the village Kostolac, I decided to try to make a video about feeding beef to wasps. I took (a) small white plate, cut tiny pieces of beef and arranged those pieces on the plate. There are a lot of wasps around the place, so it was an obvious choice to offer them lunch right there. And they accepted it right from the start. At first, there was one wasp, but then the others started coming and nibbling on pieces of beef. It took about an hour for the wasps to completely clear out the plate.” Credit: Wasps and More via Storyful
