The franchise is about a boy who acquires a watch-like alien device, called the Omnitrix (full name: Omnimatrix), that allows him or anyone who wears it to turn into alien creatures.\r

While on summer vacation with his cousin, Gwen, and their grandfather, Max, Ben Tennyson discovers the Omnitrix; an alien device which allows him to turn into different extraterrestrial life forms.
