Video has emerged of terrified concertgoers describing their ordeal as they were picked up by a taxi driver outside the Las Vegas hotel from where a gunman killed at least 58 people.

In the video, filmed by Las Vegas resident and taxi driver Cori Langdon, a man and a woman can be seen supporting each other and running towards the taxi and hailing it down.

"Is there somebody out there?" asks Langdon.

"So many people are dead ... Go go go!” screams the female passenger once in the taxi.

She drives past a crowd of people sat in the middle of the road comforting each other.

Police cars can also be seen arriving on the scene.

At the end of the video, one of the survivors can be heard speaking to her mother on the phone.

“There was a mass shooting, there were dead bodies everywhere. I’m OK,” she says, breaking down.
