About 50 people gathered in central London on Sunday (October 1) to protest against the Spanish government's violent crackdown on a vote on Catalan independence.
Protesters at Piccadilly Circus in London's West End draped in pro-self-rule Estelada flags can be heard singing in Catalan, "Independència!"
According to reports, the number of people injured in Catalonia by police in clashes after the Spanish government ordered police stop the voting has risen to more than 750.
