PRODUCTS I USED:\r
Sweet Almond Oil - \r
Xanthin Gum- \r
Castile Liquid Soap- \r
Clear bottles- \r
100% Pure Essential Oil, Tangerine- \r
\r
WHAT A DOLL NEEDS:\r
\r
2 tbsp. castile soap- \r
\r
1 cup spring water\r
\r
2 sprigs of rosemary\r
\r
1/2 cup basil \r
\r
1/2 cup sage \r
\r
1 tsp. almond oil- \r
\r
2-10 drops essential oil - \r
\r
1/8 tsp. xanthin gum- \r
\r
DIRECTIONS:\r
\r
1. Add the water to a small pot on your stove top and bring it to a boil.\r
\r
2. Collect the herbs we need from your garden or purchase them at the store and put them all into a glass jar with a lid.\r
\r
3. Pour the boiling water through a funnel into the herb filled glass jar. Tighten the lid (be careful the water is hot) give it a little shake. I like to wait ten minutes and give it another shake to make sure the herbs are properly coated in the hot water.\r
\r
4. Unscrew the lid and pour the herbs into a strainer with a bowl underneath leaving the liquid behind and separate from the herbs.\r
\r
5. Set the herbs in the strainer aside and focus on the bowl with the left over liquid. Add in Castile Soap, Xanthan Gum and Almond Oil. Whisk it together.\r
\r
6.Now its time to add in our essential oil (I like to use tangerine) be creative; there are at least a hundred essential oils to choose from…find a scent you love as much as I do! I recommend using the dropper to achieve your desired scent (strong or light) I think 9 drops is pretty strong (try 2 drops for a light scent) but this is preferential also. Please note: the whisked herbs may have an odor (dont worry) this will not affect the smell of your hair; the essential scent provides the final scent left on the hair.\r
\r
7. Cap your essential oil (I like to do this right away to avoid spills) and whisk your bowl again. I like to wait a few minutes for some of the bubbles to go down and use my fork to pop a few more if I can…take out what youll be using as your shampoo bottle and place a funnel inside it. Take your bowl and pour in the liquids. It may not all fit in (depending on the size of the bottle) because of the bubbles but do the best you can.\r
\r
8. When you use the shampoo its very important to massage it into your scalp. I advise 3-5 minutes to achieve the results we want. Please remember that shampoo is for your scalp and conditioner is for your hair.\r
\r
9. Screw the cap onto your shampoo bottle and were done. Yay! Enjoy my All Natural Hair Growth Shampoo!\r
