Charles Kaley was born on June 16, 1902 in Red Cloud, Nebraska, USA. He emerged on phonograph records in 1923 and would record with Lyman, Ben Selvin and others --- as well as being a featured (nominal) bandleader and solo vocalist, between that year and 1928. Besides, he was an actor, known for Lord Byron of Broadway (1930), Red Heads (1930) and The Beauties (1930). He died on September 7, 1965 in Santa Clara County, California, USA. This is actually the very last side he recorded, in 1928.
