Video has emerged of a melee during a speech in New York by the Turkish president after a protester called him a terrorist.
In the video, filmed on September 21, the protester stands on a chair and shouts in the direction of Recep Tayyip Erdogan: "You're a terrorist! Get out of my country!"
He is then quickly surrounded, the protester disappears from view and punches can be seen flying.
Erdogan was addressing the the Turkish American National Steering Committee.
The protester was reportedly an American citizen.
