This DIY slime / putty was inspired by all those Stila putty highlighter videos! I wanted to get some for this video but theyre hopelessly sold out, so I decided to go ahead with this slime DIY anyway :). Peel off face masks contain polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) which res with borate (inside cont lens liquid) within an alkaline/basic pH environment (created by baking soda) to create slime. Face masks are much thicker than glue so the result is a perfect DIY putty slime!\r

Another advantage of face masks is that theyre MUCH easier to find than PVA glue, especially in Europe or in the USA since there are glue shortages now! This saves you a lot of trial and error if youre not sure which brands of glue contain PVA. However ALL peel-off face masks definitely contain PVA, and you can double check the ingredients on the back yourself. \r
