A cool video has emerged of students lighting a ball of 1,000 matches on fire, creating a "Death Star" fireball.

The footage, shot in Australia on July 17, shows the fireball, suspended to a ceiling fan, rotating in the air.

"The eruption of gases caused the ball to momentarily stop rotating, but it soon regained its momentum," the filmer wrote online.

"The footage is slow motion is absolutely awesome and reminiscent of an asteroid or comet burning up," he added.
