Preetha Vijayakumar is an Indian film ress, who mostly appeared in South Indian s. Her parents are noted ors Vijayakumar and Manjula. She is married to Tamil film director Hari. The couple has three son. She was born as Preethi Vijayakumar but opted to change her first name to Preetha to avoid confusion with other resses, Preity Zinta and Preeti Jhangiani. Preetha had first signed up to portray the leading role in Ravi Raja Pinisettys Telugu film Rukmini opposite Vineeth in 1997, but delays meant her Tamil projects released first.\r
