Hurricane Irma is literally sucking out ocean water from shores

Hurricane Irma is so powerful that it's literally been pulling away ocean water from coastlines. The phenomenon was spotted in Florida's west coast and in parts of the Caribbean. Water will eventually rush back to shore, causing surge flooding.
