About this video:

It’s Day 13 on New Zealand’s Biggest Gap Year and our New Zealand Road Trip is taking us into the heart of the Waikato region of the North Island. We stop in Te Aroha which is famous for it’s geothermal activity and its mountain, Mt Te Aroha.

With that, we decide to have a walk through Te Aroha’s geothermal park and to the Mt Te Aroha Track which steeply leads up the Mt Te Aroha! We walk through native New Zealand forest to the Whakapipi Lookout which reveals incredible views over Te Aroha and the surrounding Waikato region. Awesome!

Tonight, we stay at the Te Aroha Holiday Park. Join us tomorrow for more activities in the Waikato region of New Zealand!
