MSNBC’s host Joe Scarborough, who has been an outspoken critic of President Trump, offered praise for the leader.

During Wednesday's broadcast of 'Morning Joe,' Scarborough noted how important it is that Trump was quick to make an appearance in hurricane-ravaged Texas.
The former Florida lawmaker said, in part, "In my district when Bill Clinton came down, my district most of the people loathed Bill Clinton but, boy, they loved it when he stepped off the plane and got there to say I'm here to help."
Scarborough further commented, “It made a difference to people when the president of the United States comes to your area that's been hammered by a hurricane."
Hurricane Harvey has wrought great devastation in southeast Texas, and, on Tuesday, the president visited a number of sites impacted by the storm, reports ABC News.
While in Corpus Christi, he commended the rescue efforts, but noted, “We won't say congratulations. We don't want to do that. We don't want to congratulate. We'll congratulate each other when it's all finished."
