KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast a continuous spell of rain in the port city from Tuesday (tomorrow) till the weekend amid Eid-ul-Azha celebrations.
The weather forecasting department has cautioned Karachiites for possible impact of around week-long spell of rain. However, the precipitation magnitude is yet to be predicted.
Moreover, the temperature is expected to rise and sea-breeze may also come to a halt on Tuesday, sources at PMD said.
Meantime, Mithi, Hyderabad, Badin, Tharparkar and other areas of Sindh will receive heavy rains as a storm system – currently present in north-eastern India – is expected to enter into the province from Tuesday.
