Drop-by-Drop by Kunal Ghosh, homes plant beneath a glass dome. Pipes permit water to be delivered into being purified and later gathered. The device is designed for grey water – which comes from washing machines, sinks and baths.
A mild light within the dome triggers the plant life to photosynthesize and transpire, so water is drawn via the roots and onto the leaves, wherein it enters the air as vapour. A pump controls the gadget's airflow and creates a vacuum to further expedite transpiration.
