Never work with animals or children," echoed through the ITV News studio today (August 23) as a toddler climbed over newsreader Alastair Stewart's desk during a live TV interview.
The presenter was conducting a segment on new guidelines for testing milk allergies in babies and chatting to mum Lucy Wronka when her adorable little girl, Iris, stole the show.
As the toddler got up to run around, Stewart said that Iris "will do whatever she chooses to do for the next couple of minutes", before continuing with the interview.
The excitable little girl then proceeded to climb onto the newscaster's desk, as her mother watched on with her hand over her mouth.
