A man was just charged with attempting to bomb a Confederate statue. Andrew Schneck from Texas was found with materials to create an explosive device. The 25-year-old was seen by the Richard Dowling monument just after 11 p.m. The bombing attempt comes amid a national debate on how to handle Confederate monuments.
