Wall Street receives boost from improved North Korea tensions

2017-08-14 2

It looks like eased tensions regarding North Korea has affected Wall Street. U.S. stocks were up a considerable amount when the market opened Monday. The Dow, S&P and Nasdaq all rose. It's some much-needed good news. Stocks were struggling a week ago, with the S&P 500 falling 1.43 percent. What we're seeing is a bit of a relief rally. The reason for that is the rhetoric [between North Korea and the U.S.] has toned down, for the moment.
